Catalyst Pharmaceuticals Donates $100,000 To Support Red Cross Hurricane Helene Relief Efforts

Catalyst Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company specialising in developing, commercialising and licensing therapies for rare diseases, has donated $100,000 to the American Red Cross to support relief efforts for communities affected by Hurricane Helene.

Richard J. Daly, President and CEO of Catalyst, said in a statement, “At Catalyst, our commitment to the community is unwavering, particularly in times of crisis. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to those affected by Hurricane Helene and are honoured to contribute to the American Red Cross relief efforts. Through our donation, we aim to help ensure that essential resources reach those who need them most during this challenging time.”

“Thanks to Catalyst Pharmaceuticals’ generous donation, the American Red Cross, alongside our partners, can support families who experienced the heartbreaking devastation from Hurricane Helene. We are grateful for partners like Catalyst Pharmaceuticals as we work together to provide comfort and hope to people when they need it most,” says Anne McKeough, Chief Development Officer at the American Red Cross.

The hurricane has caused severe destruction, leaving many families helpless and in need of proper assistance. The American Red Cross has brought over 1,400 disaster responders across the Carolinas, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida to provide shelter, meals, and comfort to the families battling the destruction. Catalyst's donation will help sustain these critical relief initiatives and give hope to the affected families.
