Kane Biotech Inc. has announced a donation of 2,000 ounces of its revyve™ Antimicrobial Wound Gel to support Ukraine's medical relief efforts. This product will be used to help treat severe and chronic wounds among the many casualties of the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Marc Edwards, President & CEO, said, “I am humbled by the prospect of assisting the people of Ukraine in their time of need. We can make a difference in treating wounds suffered in this theater of operations. I know that Kane’s revyve™ wound gel will be well-received by the government of Ukraine and directed to where it is most urgently required.
He also mentioned, “The need far outweighs our current financial capabilities at this time, so we will be working with the Ukrainian government to formally request that revyve™ Antimicrobial Wound Gel be included in both the Canadian and US relief programs.”
Kane Biotech's President and CEO, Marc Edwards, recently met with Ukraine's Deputy Ministers of Health, Veteran Affairs, and Education at an event held at the Ukrainian Embassy in Canada on October 22, 2024.
