Nano4Imaging, a German leader in interventional MRI
technology, has announced a major expansion of its U.S. production capabilities
through a strategic partnership with Arrotek US. The collaboration will enhance
Nano4Imaging's range of minimally invasive devices used in MRI-guided
procedures.
Arrotek, with a strong reputation in the medical device
sector, will utilize its manufacturing facility in North Attleboro, MA, to
oversee the final production and logistics of Nano4Imaging’s EmeryGlide
guidewire. Additionally, Arrotek’s expertise in composite component design will
support Nano4Imaging in developing new MRI-compatible devices.
Rudolf Schulze Vohren, CEO of Nano4Imaging, emphasized the
importance of this partnership in addressing the current shortage of
MRI-compatible devices in the U.S. market. He noted that the collaboration
strengthens Nano4Imaging’s position as a key player in the rapidly growing
interventional MRI market, projected to reach $2.3 billion within the next five
years.
Keith Spodek, VP of Operations at Arrotek, expressed
enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the opportunities it presents for
expanding Nano4Imaging’s portfolio. Paul Borm, CTO of Nano4Imaging, echoed this
excitement, emphasizing the integration of their TRACKR software, which will
enable clinicians to perform safer and more personalized MRI-guided treatments.
Nano4Imaging, based in Düsseldorf, Germany, with a U.S.
office in Ohio, specializes in AI-driven software and MRI-compatible devices.
Arrotek, a U.S.-based consultancy and manufacturer, is part of the Theragenics
group and specializes in minimally invasive medical devices.
