Founded in 1948 in Laupheim, Germany, the company has a turnover of close to €550 million and is continuing to flourish under the leadership of Mr. Tobias Uhlmann, its third-generation chairman. This family-owned business is spread across 19 countries, employing more than 2,600 people to offer end-to-end packaging solutions, from consultation to after-sales support. As the company expanded into manufacturing format parts, it relocated from its regular office space to a larger manufacturing facility in Chakan in 2019. The growing format part business required more equipment, prompting Uhlmann to move to a bigger space.
