Vetter, a leading global contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), has announced the appointment of three new senior leaders to join the ranks of its managing directors. Henryk Badack, Titus Ottinger, and Carsten Press stepped into these roles, working alongside Thomas Otto and Peter Soelkner to drive the company’s continued growth and innovation.
The appointments, effective from last Wednesday, reflect Vetter’s dedication to addressing the increasingly complex needs of its global clients and enhancing its ability to serve patients. The company’s chairman expressed pride in welcoming the new managing directors and highlighted their contributions as a sign of Vetter’s ongoing commitment to sustainable growth.
Henryk Badack will now oversee quality and development services. With a long history at Vetter, starting in 2003, he previously held the position of Senior Vice President of Technical Services and Internal Project Management. In that role, he managed internal technical projects, infrastructure development, and sustainability initiatives while also being responsible for site growth, environmental health and safety, and optimization systems.
“We at Vetter are committed to investing in our future and the continuous successes of our customers. By expanding the managing directors’ team, we are continuing the course for a sustainably successful future and further growth," said Senator H.C. Udo J. Vetter, chairman of the advisory board and a member of the owner's family.
Titus Ottinger, who has been with the company since 2004, will continue his leadership of the finance and controlling divisions. As the former Senior Vice President of Finance and Controlling, he was responsible for overseeing the company’s financial health, external accounting, risk management, and insurance, as well as driving informed decision-making through controlling business processes.
Carsten Press, joining the team of managing directors, will lead the supply chain management and human resources departments. His previous role as Senior Vice President of Global Sales Organization & Supply Chain Management saw him guide product management, marketing, and global sales operations. Press has been part of the Vetter family since 2009.
Thomas Otto and Peter Soelkner will maintain their leadership roles, continuing to guide the company. Otto has been a managing director since 2002 and will remain focused on production, engineering, and technical services. Soelkner has held his role since 2008 and will continue to oversee corporate development and global sales.
This expansion of Vetter’s leadership team reflects the company’s steady growth and the increasing importance of its various departments. This move shows Vetter’s status as an independent and globally influential player in the pharmaceutical industry.
